Just curious what was the 1832 Fosdick /Thayer letter about? Was that Harry Emerson Fosdick?
Letters (1902-1907) written by Mary MacLane to her mother, Mrs. H.G. Klenze; together with other family letters and miscellany — Includes a letter (1832) from the Fosdick/Thayer family (Louis Thayer married Margaret MacLane, another daughter of Mrs. H.G. Klenze); an oversized extended MacLane/Thayer family tree; and an obituary for Mary MacLane from the Helena Daily Indepedent.
